BIO

Biz is an Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. She pursues projects exploring narratives not often recognized in mainstream media and strives to use storytelling as a tool for social/environmental activism.

She's currently working on the film team at The North Face, but began her career at a grassroots, social innovation nonprofit where she was introduced to community organizing and systemic design. Combining this knowledge with her love of filmmaking in 2016, she grew a deeper emotional awareness of visual media and embraced collaborating on films celebrating underrepresented themes and identities.
